The Ministry of Energy of the Republic of Lithuania has published a news release, in which it is stated that on May 4, 2010 the Government of the Republic of Lithuania approved the amendment concept of the Law on Electricity, by which the Third Energy Package of the European Union is being implemented. It is also indicated that the Government approved the reorganization plan of energy companies of Lithuania. Further information is provided in the news release published by the Ministry of Energy of the Republic of Lithuania on May 4, 2010. The text of the news release is available in the attachment (attachment 1).
LIETUVOS ENERGIJA AB, upon official receipt of information about the reorganization of electricity sector and the company, will publish it in accordance with requirements for publishing of such information.
